Before and After

Well, I know this is not scrapbook stuff, but I had to post it. I have been wanting to re-do my baker's rack for sometime now and finally did it. Christy told me about this place in town, Interior Designs, so I enlisted the help of Courtney to get it done. She was great and I could not have done it without her. We picked out a cart load of stuff, then she cleared off a 3 shelf rack in the store to make sure everything worked and it did! I am so happy with it now, it has a really homey feel to it.

Elsie Challenge #3- Design a Ribbon Border
This is my sweet niece Paige and her pre-school picture. Since I only got a wallet (thanks Jen) I had to blow it up, so it is a little grainy, but still cute.
When I watched the movie "Aviator" earlier this year I noticed an old hollywood room done up in red and this bright blue and it really caught my eye. So, I did this layout based on those colors.
On this challenge I had hoped to use some of my many yards of ribbon I already own, but found the plaid in CnP that worked so well I had to buy it! O-well, maybe next time.

Elsie Challenge #1- Work those words!
I have been calling Bobby adorkable for a few years now and have been wanting to do a layout on his adorkableness for as long.
My 1st thoughts on the layout was that it needed to be rigid and clean to show his techy qualities. Then, I started thinking that even when he is being a tech dork, he is still his lovable, silly, and fun self. So, I decided to use a mix of both, from the clean journaling to the funky paint
I really like this picture. We were sitting in the airport about to go to San Diego and out comes the laptop. Gee, I really love my dork!
