This is me at 21 weeks pregnant. My belly is getting pretty round, as well as 2 other things on me ;o) I had Bobby take this picture on February, 18, 2007 the day of my baby shower.

I knew I wanted to do at least one layout on me and my pregnant belly, but was putting it off. Well, when I found this paper I knew it would work perfectly! First of all, the colors all worked too well and the quote on the paper was perfect. When a dream takes more than 8 years to happen, it does become hard think it will ever come true. But, sometimes in life you are rewarded for sticking to your goal and "daring to dream".

Also, I used Liquid Glass for the first time on this page on top of the 2 hearts. The gal sitting next to be suggested it and let me borrow hers. I really love the effect of it and will be buying some soon!

This is the first layout that I did at the new Archivers store in Boise. I saw this paper used in a sample that was hanging on the wall and just loved the colors in it.

The layout is of me, Bobby, Raquel, and Dave assembling food at Dinner's Ready. I am so glad we included the guys, they really had a blast doing it. The day was topped off by a delicious lunch at Eagle Rib Shack, yum!

Elsie Challenge #8- Group 4 photos

After working on a friend's wedding album, I was inspired to scrap some of our wedding pictures. Since I was not a scrapper when we married, this was the first time I had done these.

Not real happy with the final product but I like the title. It can either go with one of the 2 catch phrases:
Still in love....after all these years
or
Still crazy...after all these years
and either one applies!

Challenge #36- Scrap a life-time love

A life-time love for me would have to be my love of the beach and water. I have always said that I started this love before I was born when my mom loved to hang out at the beach while pregnant with me. I was born in late July and I am sure this picture of her pregnant with me had to be taken in either June or early July.
Growing up, we were either at our beach house, playing in our pool , or driving to Gulf Shores for a day at the beach. I love the water and I don't think that will ever change.

She is...

my niece Lauren. One day while I was doing my hair, Lauren comes in and ask me to do hers also. So, I get the flat iron and get to it. When I am done, I can tell that she thinks she is so beautiful and of course she is. So, I grab my camera and snap off these pictures. All the poses were her own and I really think she enjoyed her "glamor shots"

Pocket Calendar
I consider myself a pretty up-to-date kind of gal who enjoys all kinds of new tech toys and gizmo's. But, when it comes to keeping my life organized, just give me an old fashioned pocket calendar and I am happy.

Each year, I make my way to the Dollar Tree for a few pocket calendars at the low, low price of...you guessed it...$1. I then bring them back to my lab and alter them into something like what you see before you. Now, I am ready to add my important dates and I am good to go!

On this one I added a magnetic snap to the front, not sure how that is going to work out, but it looks cute for now.
